Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where are you located?
We are located in Powderly, Texas—just outside of Paris, TX. We’re a short drive from Dallas and ship puppies from DFW Airport.
Q: What breeds do you raise?
We specialize in Yorkshire Terriers (Yorkies), and Morkies (Yorkie & Maltese). All puppies are raised in our home with love and care.
Q: Can I visit to meet the puppies?
Yes! We welcome visitors by appointment.
Q: What is included with each puppy?
Each puppy comes with:
- Current vaccinations and deworming
- A health record and vaccine schedule
- A health guarantee
- Tail docked and dew claws removed
- Potty training foundation (customized to your home setup)
- A puppy care pack (includes food, health records, and more)
- Support for any questions or concerns you may have for as long as I am around.
Q: Are your puppies registered?
Yes. Puppies are typically APRI or AKC registered unless noted otherwise. Some also come with pedigrees.
Q: How much is the deposit and is it refundable?
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to hold a puppy. Full payment must be made before the puppy leaves our care. Texas sales are subject to state tax.
Q: Do you offer shipping or delivery?
Yes, we do! I have nanny who will fly with puppy in cabin. That is usually around $650. I do have to get a quote for each trip to give an accurate estimate.
- Shipping fee: $650 (subject to change based on airline surcharges)
- Delivery: Available upon request; please contact us for a quote.
We only ship when we are confident it is 100% safe for the puppy. Flight details will be shared once confirmed.
Q: How does pickup at the airport work?
Puppies are typically picked up from your nanny at the airport—Nanny will be in touch for exact location. Bring ID, a towel or wee pad, and a leash or harness if needed. We will provide exact instructions tailored to your puppy.
Q: What should I expect when my puppy arrives?
Once your puppy arrives:
- Allow time for quiet adjustment in their new home
- Limit handling and visitors for the first couple of weeks
- Provide frequent meals and access to clean water
- Monitor for signs of stress or hypoglycemia
- Contact us immediately if your puppy won’t eat or shows signs of illness
We are here for support. Please call or text to confirm your puppy’s safe arrival.
Q: What is your health guarantee?
- Puppies come with a health guarantee against life-threatening genetic defects for up to 1 year.
- Buyer must take the puppy to a licensed vet within 2 days (excluding Sundays) of receiving the puppy.
- If a life-threatening or communicable disease is diagnosed during that initial vet check, you must notify us immediately and return the puppy along with all documentation.
Q: What is not covered under the health guarantee?
The following are not covered:
- Hypoglycemia (preventable with proper care)
- Hernias, un-descended testicles, under/overbites
- Internal/external parasites

Q: Will I receive a replacement puppy if there’s a serious health issue?
Yes. If a life-threatening congenital condition is diagnosed within the first year, a replacement puppy of equal value will be provided once available. Documentation and diagnosis verification by our veterinarian may be required.
Q: Who covers return shipping or vet bills?
All transportation costs for returns or exchanges are the buyer’s responsibility. We do not reimburse veterinary or other expenses.
